The KleenWater brand KW2510SW string wound dirt/sediment water filter cartridges are an ideal choice for the value-conscious consumer. These replacement cartridges, measuring 2.5 inches by 9.75 inches, offer performance that rivals the competition at a fraction of the cost. Proudly made in the U.S.A., the KW2510SW is manufactured from a durable polypropylene cord that is wound around a rigid polypropylene core.

The large exposed surface area of this cartridge gives it an impressive dirt-loading capacity, allowing it to perform longer and more efficiently. The cartridge effectively removes dirt, rust, and sediment, with a flow rate of 8 gallons per minute, making it suitable for residential applications. The industry-standard 2.5-inch by 9.75-inch dimension ensures compatibility with filter housing manufacturers such as GE, Culligan, Cuno, and Ametek, among others.

It is recommended that the cartridge be changed every 3 to 6 months or upon substantial pressure reduction. The temperature rating of the KW2510SW is 40°F to 165°F (4.4°C to 74°C). The smaller the micron rating, the better the entrapment capability, and the KW2510SW is a 5-micron filter.

Formerly known as the PWF2510SW, the KW2510SW is a compatible replacement for a variety of filters, including the GE FXWSC, Whirlpool WHKF-WHSW, Pentek/Ametek CW-F 155186-43, and 3M Aqua-Pure SW20-S. It is also compatible with the Culligan CW-F, Ace Hardware 45331, Watts SF5-978 & OmniFilter RS3-SS24, and Hydronix SWC-25-10100 filters, as well as the Watts SF1-978, Filtercor FCP20R10P, and Aqua Flo SW-10-10 filters.
